Laura Bestor and James Buell - Peace Corps Volunteers
Laura Bestor and James Buell - Peace Corps Volunteers

Listen
AIR DATE: November 11, 2010

Laura Bestor and James Buell don't fit the sterotypical Peace Corps volunteers. They're not recent college graduates. The middle-aged couple have run businesses and reached a point in their lives when they decided to do something different and practice the kind of charity they preached. The left for the Ukraine earlier this year to work on business development. They tell us what they've been doing.

GUESTS
Laura Bestor, Peace Corps Volunteer in the Ukraine
James Buell, Peace Corps Volunteer in the Ukraine

It's great to know I'm not the only Las Vegan serving in the Peace Corps. Best of luck and happy 50th anniversary to my fellow PCVs from my village in Uganda!
