Freshman representative Joe Heck is gaining his bearings in his new office. We talk to him about the first days on the job, his role on the House's steering committee, his thoughts on healthcare, and his plans to reinvigorate our region.
Dr Heck is another out of touch republican. He says that the secret getting more jobs here is cutting taxes even more. Taxes have been low here for years. If there is no demand for goods or services there will be no new jobs. Employers are not going to hire new people just to keep the warehouse full. WHERE ARE THE JOBS DR. HECK!!! Why is Dr. Heck happy to use the "job killing" (their word, NOT mine) statistic from the Congressional Budget Office, but posits that the same report is in error when dealing with the impact to the deficit? Politics as usual, indeed...Mark –Jan 20, 2011 10:11:21 AM
I voted for Dr. Heck. Now I'm disappointed. I emailed the Dr. an easy question, the answer he gave me was a half truth. Politics as usual.challenger –Jan 20, 2011 10:01:54 AM
