To say that Pepe Romero has music in his blood is an understatement. He started performing on stage when he was 7. He joined a quartet with his father and brothers and played for queens and Ed Sullivan alike, earning them the nickname "The Royal Family of the Guitar." Pepe Romero talks about keeping three generations of musical bloodlines strong, and what inspires his fiery flamenco playing.

Pepe Romero performs Saturday, January 8, at 8 p.m. at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall.
