Assembly Speaker John Oceguera

Listen
AIR DATE: January 20, 2011

Las Vegas Democrat John Oceguera will be leading the Nevada Assembly as it tries to balance the state budget. Former speaker Barbara Buckley has left some big shoes to fill. We talk about the problem of balancing falling revenue with more need in education and health care. And we look at the thorny political problem of redistricting the Legislature that could see only one or two rural seats in the both houses of the Legislature.

GUEST
John Oceguera, NV Assembly Speaker
