    COMMENTS:
My girlfriend will not trust anything I say comes from NPR. She is convinced that it is an unreliable source of information due to an extreme left bias.

What do you suggest I do to respond to her concerns?

Can you tell us if you have had done any work on the allegations critical of NPR from conservative voices like Glenn Beck? It seems that either NPR has a real problem or it is being vilified for some purpose I do not fully understand.

As ombudsman, would you please comment more on the allegation that because NPR is funded by the federal government, it is not really an independent news source but rather a outlet for promoting the government's agenda or propaganda?
