Victor Chaltiel sound like a buffoon. You do need some potilitcal know-how to be the mayor of a city. This man does not sound smart enough for the job.

He spends too much of his time at his CASTLE in FRANCE. He has no time for Las Vegas.

I for one am strongly opposed to legalized prostitution. I do not want my daughter to think that that is a legitimate career. We need to eradicate prostitution. The abuse those girls and women suffer is terrible and we cannot allow this.

I'm confused, Victor. You want Las Vegas to be the most welcoming city in the world, but you don't want to organize and tax one of the most basic activities that tourists want. Today, because of the prohibitionist attitudes of our control-freak "leaders", the entire city is a "Red light district", which even involves children. Is this a desirable situation?

I have not seen Victor or his wife Toni in nearly four years but was thrilled to turn on the radio this morning and hear his NPR interview. I had the chance to work with the Chaltiel's while I was raising money for Nevada Ballet Theatre a few years ago. They are brillant, kind and generous people dedicated to Las Vegas and its children's future. I believe Victor can offer just the type of smart strategic and collaborative leadership Las Vegas needs most right now!

Carolyn and Chris G. both support enthusiastically the stadium at UNLV.

Maybe you weren't paying attention, he mentioned supporting the UNLV Stadium initiative ...maybe you need to pay attention ...

Just let the Chinese tourists come to Las Vegas. There are at least 200,000,000 who want to come and just 4,000,000 Chinese will gamble as much as the 37,000,000 who visited Las Vegas last year. The economy of Las Vegas could easily triple or quadruple by making this one move. The Mayor should be camping out on the White House lawn until the US government removes its ridiculous restrictions on Chinese.

GO VICTOR! Las Vegas needs you.
