Religious Freedom in the Military
Religious Freedom in the Military

Listen
AIR DATE: March 1, 2011

God and country seem to go together naturally. But that's not what is supposed to happen says former Air Force lawyer Mike Weinstein. He heads the Military Religious Freedom Foundation.

And he says the group is needed more than ever as our military forces are in danger of being overtaken by subculture of evangelical Christians. Quietly, says Weinstein, they have imposed unofficial measures that keep those of other faiths or no faith from fully participating in the armed forces.

Weinstein will be speaking in Las Vegas this weekend and he joins us to discuss his concerns about our military imposing religious tests on officers and enlisted men.
GUEST
Mike Weinstein, Founder, Military Religious Freedom Foundation
