The Nevada Ballet Theatre is officially declaring the end of winter when it kicks off its spring series. The program is called "The Tried and True and the New." It will feature a Balanchine ballet trumpeting the 100th anniversary of Italy's unification, live accompaniment from a cellist and Emmy Award-winning pianist, and choreography never before seen in Nevada. A dancer, choreographer, and cellist reveal the secrets behind a ballet production to herald the bloom of spring.
