Poet, teacher and civil rights activist Nikki Giovanni joins us to talk about a lifetime of letters and activism.  Her poems range from the black power movement to rapper Tupac Shakur to President Obama.  She lost a lung to cancer, then brought a stadium to tears in the wake of a campus shooting where she taught.  Nikki Giovanni talks about the power of one, and how you find love in the most unexpected places.

Nikki Giovanni speaks on Sunday, March 27, at 2 p.m. at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.  The ticketed event is hosted by the Las Vegas Urban League.
