For most of us, the homeless are those who rattle a can at the stop light hoping for a couple of dollars. Sociologist Kurt Borchard has spent much of his academic career talking to the homeless people of Las Vegas. His new book, Homeless in Las Vegas: Stories from the Street, recounts some of those people's lives.He tells us who he met and what they told him about life as a homeless man or woman.
