Two teams from Las Vegas' East Career and Technical academy swept the state ProStart Invitational cooking and restaurant management competition earlier this month. The cooking team's winning dish was scallops with micro greens. And the management's winning restaurant concept was an environmentally conscious barbecue spot. The two teams will now compete at the national ProStart Invitational in Overland Park, Kansas. We talk with students from both teams and their instructor about the competition and what they are brining to the national competition.
