Charles Fishman's new book, The Big Thirst: the secret life and turbulent future of water, examines how water is impacting cities and countries around the globe. Las Vegas is used as a prime example of how a community is dealing with huge water shortages, but also has a good attitude toward water and what it means for the community. Charles Fishman spent three weeks in Las Vegas researching the dynamics of water in Las Vegas, and he joins us to talk about his book.
