Earlier this week, the state found itself with nearly $300 million extra to put to education and social services. Gov. Sandoval says it will save some programs but Democrats say that this won't be enough. The governor will be addressing the state Tuesday night to make his case. We talk about what his speech and the additional funding mean for the state budget and whether it will get the two sides closer to a deal to complete the work of the 2011 Legislature.

During the Economic Forum analysts stated that the NV economy is still very weak, so why is the Governor holding to his assertion that we can grow our way out of his budget cuts?

Why is Governor Sandoval continuing to tax Nevada's working families through salary and benefit reductions but refuses to tax the foreign mining corporations who have made billions of dollars off their misery?
