The Governor and the Legislature
The Governor and the Legislature

Listen
AIR DATE: May 4, 2011

Earlier this week, the state found itself with nearly $300 million extra to put to education and social services. Gov. Sandoval says it will save some programs but Democrats say that this won't be enough. The governor will be addressing the state Tuesday night to make his case. We talk about what his speech and the additional funding mean for the state budget and whether it will get the two sides closer to a deal to complete the work of the 2011 Legislature.
