For months, a secret deal was being made that would eventually shake up the furniture showroom industry.  What used to be a heated rivalry between furniture showrooms at World Market Center in Las Vegas and High Point in North Carolina is now a marriage few expected.  International Market Centers limited partnership has purchased WMC and the three main showrooms at High Point for one-billion dollars.  What does this mean for the Market Center in Vegas?  What does it mean for the furniture business?
