Mexican Drug Violence Comes to Mexico's Tourist Zones
Mexican Drug Violence Comes to Mexico's Tourist Zones

AIR DATE: May 11, 2011

In Mexico tourist zones like Rocky Point and Cancun, drug violence, which has for the most part not been evident in these areas, is starting to find its way into areas where many Americans visit. Meanwhile in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas mass graves have been discovered revealing about 183 victims of drug violence. The city of Matamoros recently invited people from all over Mexico to come and get a free DNA test to see if they could identify the bodies of their loved ones. Fronteras reporters Michel Marizco and Hernan Rozemberg recenlty reported on these stories and they'll join us to talk about the personal impact these events have had on people in Mexico.
