An outbreak of Equine Herpes Virus (EHV) infection has spread across at least nine states in the West. Horse owners and horse show promoters are even postponing and cancelling some events. Warning have gone out throughout the entire state of Nevada warning horse owners about the risk involved with EHV. We talk with a former president of the Nevada Quarter Horse Association and a Nevada state veterinarian about the risks for Nevada horses.
