Listen
AIR DATE: June 7, 2011

Dave Thompson didn't start out as an artist. He was a welder playing around with scrap metal, when he realized he could shape the pieces into animals and other designs. Some of his pieces include a peacock made out of shovels, ants made from car parts, and a "smoking" dragon made of metal. His pieces are now on display at the Windmill Library.
