AIR DATE: June 8, 2011

Three different arena plans are on the table for Las Vegas. One would be downtown, one would be at UNLV and a third would be located near the strip behind Mandalay Bay. The Nevada Legislature debated a bill that would create a special taxing district and put the Clark County Commission in charge of picking the best plan for a new arena. We talk with lobbyist and former Nevada Assemblyman, David Goldwater about the plan he is pushing.

COMMENTS:
Not getting at least the UNLV NOW and/or the Milam project moving will set this community back years. Good chance to take the LV area a big step forward was missed.
