Stephane Vanel used to model for Armani on the runway but that wasn't what he was best at. As a youngster he was very shy and used sleight of hand card tricks to overcome his shyness. Now, after performing at various venues on the strip he has just launched a new show at Paris called The Magic of Paris. Stephane Vanel joins us to talk about the art of sleight of hand.

I agree i went to see the show with my kids,they loved it.They still talk about the show.It is very entertaining ,very funny and vanel's magic is very impressive.I will go back to see it again.The room is freezing cold,so if you go take a jacket.

I would like to respond to your comment so people have an another opinion. I have worked in magic for 26 years, eleven of those years with David Copperfield. I have seen and worked with many magicians. Stephane's technical skill is exceptional. He has the potential to be a big star, he just needs the opportunity to get established and grow. Great looking, multitalented (an excellent dancer), and a superior magician, he is off to a great start. The audiences seem to really like him.
Exactly who are all these magicians you saw on America's Got Talent that you thought were better?

Eric i am very surprise,i saw the show yesterday night and i though the show was amazing!!!!!!You must really be a hater or working for another show to leave such a comment.The show is so great .Stephane vanel is one of the best magician i have ever seen and i have been a magic fan for over 20 years.

i really have to agree with john.You probably haven't seen the show,cause if you did ,you would never leave such a comment.The show is so entertaining and full of talents.When i saw it ,the show got a standing ovation.John as you say ,this guy is probably a jealous magician .The vanel guy was just amazing to watch as well as the rest of the cast.Great show,5 stars in my book
