MGM Resorts moves to demolish the Harmon

AIR DATE: August 17, 2011

The troubled Harmon Tower at CityCenter was deemed so structurally unfit that an earthquake would likely take the building down. Now, MGM Resorts has said they will demolish the building before anyone ever steps foot in it.

The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that MGM Resorts has submitted a demolition plan to the county and will ask a Clark County judge for approval to raze the tower. RJ Gaming Reporter, Howard Stutz joins us to talk about the latest developments with the Harmon.
