Susana Martinez is the only Latina governor in the United States. She's tough on immigrants and the New York Times reports she has rushed to erase much of the legacy of her predecessor, Bill Richardson. Like Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval her Hispanic roots make her a very visible presence in Republican politics and there has even been talks of her being a future vice presidential candidate. We take a look at Susana Martinez's time so far as governor and how her political stances match up with other governors in the west.

Many Hispanics in N. NM are very anti immigration "nativists" and unfair for outsiders racistly lump them into the "Latino" stew. The NM have been in N. NM since the 1700's and gladly embraced staehood from an inept/corupt Mexico. Their unique history is DROWNING in the illegal ocean hoardes!
