Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson has extensive business interests in Israel. A recent profile on Israeli TV apparently upset the Sands Chief and he persuaded the network to give apologize. But that led to a raft of resignations from journalists and news executives who thought they had been thrown under the bus. So what caused all the problems? A report on Adelson's activities in Las Vegas when he first took over Las Vegas Sands in the late 1980s.
