Grindhouse lovers unite! The local film festival, Pollygrind, returns with its cinematic tribute to blood, guts, and gore. We talk to its organizers plus a local filmmaker and actress on why gore films are so bloody intriguing.

The Pollygrind Film Festival runs Oct. 7-17 at theatre7 in the Downtown Arts District.
