When Delia Oliveri was diagnosed with breast cancer, she was newly divorced and $40,000 in debt.  That was 1983.  She chose one of the few options at the time - a masectomy, or breast removal.  She felt "depressed and disfigured."  But when an American Cancer Society volunteer came to visit her, it changed her life.  She started a breast cancer support group and became a national advocate - and the White House named her a "Champion of Change" last week.
