Senator Harry Reid

Listen
AIR DATE: October 10, 2011

The standing of the Congress in public opinion is at historic lows and no wonder when any new measure from either party is subject to automatic opposition from the other party. The jobs plan, new trade treaties, a fix for China's currency and plans to raise taxes on the wealthy are all on the agenda.

Despite claiming they want to work together, it looks if every major bill on taxes and spending is doomed to be held political hostage more than a year before the next election. Nevada's senior senator, Sen. Harry Reid, tells us what he plans to do to fix the problems.
