The year 2011 marks the centenary of the birth of playwright Tennessee Williams. To celebrate, the Nevada Conservatory Theatre is performing Williams' 1947 classic, "A Streeetcar Named Desire." The director argues that the play is as challenging for modern audiences as it was when it was first performed. We talk to the cast about that issue and the use of non-traditional casting. Of course, it's hard to perform Stanley Kowalski without getting some people to think of Marlon Brando. We also discuss the issues that creates for minority actors cast by non-traditional casting.
