Guitarist Mundo Juillerat was visiting a music festival in England, when he noticed something was different: the headliners were mingling with the audience.  Not only that, but the professional musicians were sitting down in the grass and playing alongside amateurs.  Mundo loved the idea – so much so, that he brought it back to Las Vegas.  Along with fellow gypsy jazz musician Stuart Carter-Smith of the gypsy jazz band, Gypsy Fire, he’s starting the first Vegas Unplugged Music Festival.  Besides featuring headliners like Frankie Moreno and Jennifer Batten (Michael Jackson’s former guitarist), the festival will also hold an Acoustic Idol Competition for new artists to take center stage.  Mundo and Frankie Moreno join us to talk about this new breed of music festival.
