The Tropicana Hotel pulled itself out of bankruptcy with major renovations last year.  But it hasn't been all roses since then.  It recently cut ties with its Nikki Beach nightclub, its Mob Experience exhibit went bankrupt, and comedian Brad Garrett is moving his show to the MGM.  So what's going on with the Tropicana?  Are these troubling signs, or just growing pains?  And what are we seeing with other mid-market casinos?  Can you be an upscale casino on a mid-market budget?  UNLV's gaming expert David Schwartz weighs in.
