Selling History for a Fortune
Selling History for a Fortune

AIR DATE: December 5, 2011

In Reno, Fred Holabird is selling valuable items that people have been holding onto for years, sometimes generations.  And don't tell him the economy is bad, because he is fetching thousands of dollars for some of these items.  This week he is holding an auction, and one of the items includes an old Disney drawing (not of the Mouse) that could fetch up to 50-thousand dollars.  Plus, some Vegas history up for sale: the casinos' Little Black Book, and a Gold Rush nugget.
Fred Holabird, historian, appraiser and mining geologist
