The American Beekeeping Federation Conference is in town, and the beekeepers are abuzz about the latest issues: colony collapse disorder, pesticides, and competition from overseas honey producers.  We talk with a 50-year beekeeping veteran about his trade, and an anti-pesticide group about the partnership between beekeepers and environmental groups to battle pesticides.

GUEST
David Hackenberg, co-chair, National Honey Bee Advisory Board; owner, Hackenberg Apiaries in Pennsylvania
Heather Pilatic, co-dir, Pesticide Action Network
