Listen
AIR DATE: December 26, 2012

Marion Write had a tough year.  His long-term relationship had ended, and he lost an uncle and a close friend to cancer.  He said he felt "detached for months."  Then people started opening up to him about their own losses, and that's when musical inspiration started pouring through.  His new album, "Illustrated Example," explores love and loss, and how they tie us all together.  Marion Write talks to us about tapping into the deep well of emotion with hip hop.
