On Valentines Day one of the key pieces of downtown redevelopment will open. The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, also known as the Mob Museum will debut. The museum, located downtown in a former federal courthouse and U.S. Post Office, will feature artifacts from Las Vegas' and the country's mob history. The project cost $42 million and will feature 16,800 square foot of retail space. We talk with the museum's Executive Director, Jonathan Ullman about the opening of the project.

i lived and hated the mob as a child. my father worked at the stardust and knew all of the murderous thugs. my father was the hooked gambler portrayed in the movie,"casino" with the large family (six children). we always went along with my father to pay his marker at the, tower of pizza, restaurant. when my father was not able to pay, these upstanding hooligans would flatten our family car tires and my poor mom would have to walk to work..I wouldn't go to that dump museum if someone paid me...
