The search for the next Nevada State Superintendent has been whittled down to three candidates. One of the finalists is Rene Cantu Jr. executive director of the Latin Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation. Cantu has 20 years experience in higher education most recently as Nevada State College's vice president of multicultural affairs. Cantu hopes to replace current Nevada Superintendent, Keith Rheault who is retiring. Cantu joins us to talk about why he wants to be the next superintendent of schools for the state.
