Much of the Attorney General's  term has been dominated by efforts to untangle mortgage fraud by brokers, real estate professionals and the banks themselves. The first of what has been promised as a series of victories by state attorneys general was the settlement in the robo-signing case. That promises to bring $1.5 billion of principal reduction and mortgage modification, We talk about the future litigation, the problems fighting mortgage fraud and other consumer finance issues.

    I have read what a great job our attorney general has done THANK YOU, But I don't see help for people who are disabled and are on fixed income. Most of these disabled homeowners can be approved for 40 year fixed loan. But the banks are using the 31% debit income ratio as a reason not to do the loan Mod. I guess its Ok to step all over the disabled Americans. its not a issue until that one person that dose not care becomes disabled. How sad.
