Nevada District Court Judge Elissa Cadish was recently nominated to fill a vacancy on the Federal Court. But the nomination stalled because Sen. Dean Heller would not sign off on the nomination. And tradition dictates that both Nevada senators agree. So why has Heller blocked Cadish's appointment. She was judged well qualified by the American Bar Association and is highly praised by her predecessor, Judge Philip Pro. Reports hint that Heller thinks Cadish might not fully support Second Amendment rights. And now it looks as if there will be a stand-off between Nevada's two senators.
