MOMIX is more than just modern dance.  Creator Moses Pendleton called it visual theater.  Dancers in fluffy dresses move on stage as human-sized flowers.  One dancer is on stage with a skeleton of a dinosaur.  It's a performance that uses props and light to reconnect us to nature, to animals plants and the mineral world.  MOMIX is scheduled to perform 'Botanica' on Friday at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
