U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan is in Las Vegas on Thursday to discuss the recent robo-signing settlement with Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto. Still, that was only a start and there are many programs that were designed to fix the foreclosure crisis that have barely touched the Las Vegas housing market. We ask the Secretary about those programs and the future of housing.
I'd love to see him try and go through the process with the bank. Its terrible. everything is designed to as complicated as possible and the people in the banks don't even know these processes. I spent days calling. I went to the events. I was told they would change my loan. I spent Weeks waiting for the answer only to be told no. they don't care about medical expenses, expenses for child care. Just gross pay. no regard to your situation unless you are in default. Its not my fault.I bought the house I could afford. The banks sold to people that couldn't but now I can't refinance.
The only reason foreclosures have reduced is because of the backlog created by the robo scandal.Thomas harder –May 3, 2012 09:32:53 AM
