Wet and Wild closed on Las Vegas boulevard in 2004 leaving the valley without a water park. Now, two proposed water parks in Henderson and Las Vegas are moving ahead with plans to open in 2013. Splash Mountain in Las Vegas broke ground last year and was scheduled to open this month but was pushed back to 2013. Developers in Henderson say they have secured financing and will soon break ground. Will both projects be built? And can the economy support two water parks? Las Vegas Sun reporter Delen Goldberg recently talked to both developers and she joins us.
