Construction headaches along Sahara Ave. will come to an end soon when the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada officially opens the Sahara Express Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line. The $40 million project broke ground last year and include improved bus stops, foliage and new sidewalks. When the project first started transportation officials said it would revitalize the Sahara corridor and boost business.

Federal Transportation Administration Administrator, Peter Rogoff is in Las Vegas to celebrate the opening of the line and he joins us to talk about public transportation and getting a commuter city to be excited about taking the bus.
