Gay Rodeo - It All Began in Nevada
Gay Rodeo - It All Began in Nevada

AIR DATE: May 21, 2012

If you learned everything you knew about gay cowboys watching Brokeback Mountain, think again. The real history would include the creation of the gay rodeo in Reno. And the way the sport has spread across the West. It is another example of the West shaking up stereotypes. Las Vegas Clark County Library will host a lecture as part of its Out West series this Saturday evening to look at the history of gay rodeo.
