The Clark County Commission has postponed a hearing on the future of the Echelon until early June, where the property's permits are at stake. Boyd Gaming, which owns the site, is asking for an extension. We'll talk with Commisioner Chris Giunchigliani about what should happen at the site. We also discuss how best to bring back the north end of the Strip.

I second the wish to in some manner require beautification on empty sites: El Rancho Vegas, The Wet & Wild, smaller sites that have been sitting empty.

There ought to be an eyesore tax levied on the owners of the Fountainbleu, Echelon Place, the site of the old Frontier
