Donald Munn has been fired and rehired as a Las Vegas firefighter. He's now suing Clark County for defamation after he became the face of sick leave abuse by firefighters. He joins us to share his story and his return to the job.

COMMENTS:

Firefighters are the supreme parasites, period. Overpaid, under-worked, shocking pensions and benefits. And, to deflate the folk myth of their being heroes, statistically their jobs are far safer than scores of common, everyday jobs we all have. Considering the light workload and such, I'd wager the county could offer firefighter jobs for $40,000/year, flat salary, and they would get more applications than they could process in a lifetime.

Amazing that you have judged an entire group of people (800) based on one side of a story. If there were 210 people abusing sick leave and 2 were fired and 2 get their job back. Wouldn't any sane person question that the other side may be in question? Ask yourself.. has anyone ever questioned the other side? Then ask why they haven't questioned the other side. Maybe you'll fine the truth in the middle.

I hope his boy does well but This guy is hiding behind his son to justify PTO. Any job you can take 4 months paid off there is somthing wrong. They picked the wrong scapegoat though
