Kenneth Wegner - Republican Candidate for Congress
Kenneth Wegner - Republican Candidate for Congress

AIR DATE: June 12, 2012

Kenneth Wegner is running again to be a Republican candidate for Congress. He has run previously against Congresswoman Shelley Berkley in her safe Democratic district. Re-districting after the 2010 census has created a Democratic-leaning district, which includes rural areas north of Las Vegas as well as a large slice of North Las Vegas itself. Wegner tells us why he's running and why he is better than a couple of better-known and better-funded candidates.

What an idiot!! I tuned into the progam towards the end of the conversation and was ready to turn it off after 3 minutes. I thought that you had some right wing idiot off of the street and was wondering what the hell this idiot was talking about. I was right. Wegner has no idea of reality including what could have happened had the banks not been bailed out. His solutions are right out of Sharon Angles' playbook. I hope that he wins the Republican nomination.

If Wegner is the nominee, I'll be voting Republican. But only him. Hell, the mere fact he's not well liked by the Republican establishment in this state is enough of an endorsement for me.
