Every year thousands of students compete for places in the AFS exchange student programs. Americans live abroad with host families for a year and foreign students live in the US for a year. We meet an American heading to Paraguay and two Europeans who have spent the last year in Las Vegas. They tell us what they thought about Las Vegas when they first arrived and what they've learned in the year while they were living here.
