The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is in town, and the menagerie of animals that accompanies it.  But in recent years, circuses have acquired dubious reputations for mistreatment of animals.  We talk about animal care with a representative of Ringling Brothers, and we'll discuss the issues with a director of enforcement with PETA.

Thank you for bringing information about circuses to the public's attention. There is nothing entertaining about abusing and tormenting animals, subjecting them to pain and fear so as to "train" them for acts that are not natural to them - or enjoyable; and denying them their basic needs. Circuses are nothing more than glorified animal exploitation.
