I have had several basal cell carcinomas in the past 20 years. My dermatologist told me they were a result of tanning in Oregon when I was young. I am extremely disappointed in the FDA's postponing of the label regulations--10 years ago when I was playing golf in the summers, I applied copies amounts of sunscreen per label directions. Now, 10 years later I have had 3 basal cell carcinomas on my shoulders and I attribute this to misleading information on the sunscreen labels.
