University of Nevada at Las Vegas senior Amanda Bingson will continue to the London Olympics after coming in second at the U.S. Olympic Trials in the hammer throw.  During the trials in Oregon, the Silverado High graduate set a UNLV hammer throw record and a personal best of 71.78 meters.  Amanda will be joined by Amber Campbell and Jessica Cosby, both of whom previously competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The women’s hammer throw event begins on August 8th in London.
