One Singer's Path: From Yellow Brick Road to Symphonic Rock
AIR DATE: August 24, 2012
When it comes to classic rock cover bands, Yellow Brick Road is a Las Vegas staple. As the lead singer, Brody Dolyniuk spent 14 years belting out AC/DC and Van Halen tunes. Now the band is reuniting for a symphonic rock show (French horn and Led Zeppelin, anyone?) at The Smith Center on August 24. We talk to Brody about merging a 25-piece orchestra with laser lights and good, old-fashioned rock-and-roll.
A great interview with a Brody. I enjoyed hearing him several times when played with YBR. His childhood memories and motivations are inspiring. I was surprised to hear he moved on but with his talent it was probably to be expected. I wish him the best and thanks for coming back to grace us with some of the best classic rock at the Smith Center.Ray Abbott –Aug 24, 2012 11:20:05 AM
