Labor Day is one of the most dangerous when it comes to driving. That's why local law enforcement is stepping up enforcement on drunk drivers this weekend.
While driving drunk sometimes causes harm, it's clear to me that the simple act of driving does not constitute probable cause, so these DUI checkpoints are in my opinion unConstitutional. This is yet another case illustrating Franklin's oh-so-true statement on the nature of government and "sheeple", "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."Tom Hurst –Aug 30, 2012 17:16:26 PM
