AIR DATE: October 15, 2012

Another downtown Las Vegas landmark has been named to the National Register of Historic Places. The Morelli House was saved from demolition, and then renovated, by the Junior League, a women’s group committed to promoting volunteerism and philanthropy. I visited the Morelli home on a recent vacation to Las Vegas. It is a wonderful exhibit of mid- century modern architecture and furnishing. The home is in excellent condition and posseses a wonderful history of all the famous people who were entertained there by the Morellis. I highly recommend taking the tour and reliving the the memories this home embodies.
